8-hr Urban/Suburban Survival Preparation

suburban survival.png

We've all heard it said, "Hope is not a course of action."  That's especially true when it comes to your survival, whether things go wrong out in the woods or the back country, or when it happens at home, or on your way to or from work.  This dynamic, interactive program is for those who value their lives, their home, their legacy.  This is professional education and coaching designed for individuals, families, business, and groups who seriously want to learn how to be better prepared and what to do when disaster strikes.  Covers preparation and response for all relevant threat scenarios including: criminal attack, anarchy/riot, natural disaster, government imposition, terrorist and nuclear event.

The urban/suburban environment, where 90 percent of Americans live today, is dependent on increasingly vulnerable systems, services, and infrastructure.  At the same time, we're witnessing rising numbers of attacks and threats by gangs, violent protesters, terrorists, illegal immigrants, and self-described "resistance" groups.  When manmade systems fail, and community services are delayed or no longer available, what will you do? When a disaster causes destruction and isolation how will you help your family, friends, and neighbors?

Instruction is 8 hours (not including lunch break) and is presented in six training modules:

Improving Situational Awareness  (Understanding Manmade and Natural Threats)

Establishing your Priorities     (Analyzing and Managing the Risks)

Creating Effective Readiness Action Plans  (Safety, Communication, Security, Travel)

Designing, Equipping, Preparing Your Home or Office  (Safety, Defense, Sustainment)

Surviving the Unexpected (Preparing Yourself, Your Family, and Your Car)

Practical Exercise for Home or Office (Taking Stock, Making Plans, Taking Practical Steps)

All participants must be 18 years and older.  Participants responsible for costs of facility, lodging, meals, and refreshments.  Available year round, weekdays or weekends for your group program at Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center in WV.
