$45 per person. Ages 12 and up.  Youth must be accompanied by paying adult. This is a great, hands-on workshop for those who may have seen fire starting on a video but would like to learn to actually make fire themselves.  Using a bow drill to make fire requires perfect form and mastering the technique.  We’ll demonstrate the process from start to finish and provide all the materials you need.

Survival depends on having multiple capabilities for fire starting so we’ll also learn how to start fire using fire steel and striker, and using a fire glass and char cloth.  Participants have plenty of opportunity to practice and hone their skills.
